Part 2

The best coaches in the decade for College Basketball are probably Roy Williams, Bill Self, Tom Izzo, John Calapari, and of course Coach K. Roy Williams had a great run with UNC. John Calapari turned Memphis around and is doing great with Kentucky. Tom Izzo kept Michigan State an elite team. Bill Self is doing great at Kansas and was good at Tulsa. Coach K. is doing great with Duke and is one of the best coaches of all-time.
Some of the best players are Kevin Durant, Micheal Beasley, Tyler Hansborough, Stephen Curry, and Carmelo Anthony.

A Decade To Remember

It has been a decade already. We are going to go through a memorable decade.

Chapter 1. College Basketball

North Carolina is at the top of the list for College Basketball. They have 2 National Titles, 4 Final Fours, 5 Elite Eights, and 5 ACC regular season titles. 3 were outright. Kansas would be at number 2 with 1 National Title, 3 Final Fours, 282 wins, and 7 Big 12 regular season titles. 4 0f the 7 were outright. Duke is number 3 with 1 National Title, 2 Final Fours, 2 Elite Eights, and 7 ACC Tourney Titles. They also have 291 wins. That is 1st this decade. Florida is 4th with 2 National Titles, 3 Title game appearances and 262 wins. 5th is Michigan State with 1 National Title, 4 Final Fours, 5 Elite Eights, and 3 Big Ten Titles. 1 was outright. 2 teams missed the cut and that was Syracuse and UCONN. The Cinderella was George Mason in 2005 making it to the Final Four.

So Close!

Today the undefeated Colts lost! They lost to the Jets 29-15. Now there are no more undefeated teams. The Saints lost for the second straight week. The Bucs won in Overtime. Now the Colts travel to Buffalo in the first week of January. If the Colts lose next week and the Saints win there will be a close MVP voting. If you ask me it goes Manning, Brees, then Phillip Rivers. Rivers is so under-rated.

Wild Card Weekend

This week there are a lot of matchups. Almost every good one has something to do with the Wild Card. The Colts will beat the Jets by 1. Clark just needs 3 yards to have a 1,000 yard season. For some strange reason I think he'll get it. The Redskins will beat the cowboys by 3. They will rebound from that embarrasing loss. The Giants will keep their playoff hopes alive and beat the Panthers. Brian Dawkins will not haunt the Eagles today. The Eagles are a better team. The Broncos will fall short. The Ravens will beat the Steelers.

Thursday Night Football

Merry Christmas! Tonight the Titans play the Chargers. Chris Johnson will rush for 100+ yards. Darren Sprolles will have a huge day though. M Dog has the Chargers winning. But T Mac and Propick think the Titans will win. The Chargers will win their 11th straight game I think.

Bowl Season

It is finally here, Bowl Season. For the Emerald Bowl I have USC beating BC. Ole Miss will beat Oklahoma State in the Cotton Bowl. Suh will be all over Nick Folk when Nebraska beats Arizona. Hines Paul will play well. Iowa and Georgia Tech will have a shootout. Tech is just to fast. I have Tech 27-20. Oregon will win big versus Ohio State. Cincinnati and Florida will be a close one but it is Tebow's last game and Cincinnati is not fast enough. The game I like is TCU versus Boise State. TCU will beat Boise State for the second straight year. Alabama will beat Texas and be crowned Champion. another notable game is Clemson Kentucky. I have Clemson winning 37-17. I also have Wisconsin losing to Miami by 6. West Virginia will beat Florida State. LSU will beat Penn State. Stanford will beat Oklahoma.

1 Versus 2

Tonight number 2 Stanford plays number 1 UCONN. You might think Stanford and UCONN are not number 1 or 2 at football and Men's basketball. I am talking about Women's basketball. Stanford just beat number 3 Tennesee. UCONN has a 40 game win streak. The last team to beat them was Stanford. You know, Women's sports are interesting too. Penn State has a 102 game win streak in volleyball. I still think Men's is more interseting though.

Tuesday Matchups

Tonight I have Oregon State beating BYU. Jaquizz Rogers will have a good game. But his brother James Rogers will be on fire. I predict he will have 2 touchdowns and 100+ receiving yards. Max Hall will have 1 TD and 2 INT. Michigan State will beat Texas. Number 2 Texas will lose to number 10 Michigan State but number 1 Kansas will beat Cal.

Henry's Death

Chris Henry, Bengals Wide receiver, died early today. He was in a fight with his fiancee and he jumped to the back of the truck. He banged on the door to let him back in but she could not hear him. Then he flew out of the car. People found him on the highway. They had 3 kids. He had been in jail and he was starting to turn his life back around.

Athlete of the Decade

Tiger Woods got named Athlete of the Decade. Despite what is happening these last 3 weeks. People tried to take back their vote once they heard about the crash. He has 56 wins and 12 Majors. A New Home

Mark Ingram won the Heisman last night. Ingram came in 1st, Gerhart came in 2nd, McCoy came in 3rd, Suh came in 4th, Tebow in 5th, Spiller in 6th, and Kellen Moore in 7th. It was the closest voting in history of the award. Gerhart won the voting in the West. Suh and McCoy split in the South. Ingram won the Southeast, North and East. He was the 1st Alabama player to win the Heisman. Suh was the first deffensive player to be in it since 1997 when Charles Woodson was in it. Finally a Heisman is in Tuskalusa. In Flintstone, Michigan [where Ingram lived] they had a Mark Ingram Day.

Heisman

Tonight the Heisman trophy is being gave away! Toby Gerhart, Mark Ingram, Ndamukong Suh, Colt Mcoy, and Tim Tebow are the canidates. Tebow can pick for the Heisman because he already won it before. I think Toby Gerhart or Mark Ingram will win it. I think Toby Gerhart should win it. He was the most consistant. I wish we heard about him last year because now he is a senior. It would be a great story if Suh won it. Mcoy and Tebow do not deserve it.

Bowl Special

The bowl games are good this year. I'm going to talk about the big ones but I won't pick them. In Georgia Tech Iowa Georgia Tech will play well. Tech has the speed but Iowa is stronger. In Oregon Ohio State Masoli will play well. They both are quick. Oregon has the better QB. Ohio State you never know what to expect. I think Florida Cincinatti will be okay. Tebow will want to win his last game. He will play well. Cooper will play decent. Bryan Kelly should have waited to the end of the season to go to Notre Dame. The game I really like is TCU Boise State. TCU has the better deffense. The offenses are the same. None of them can complain they are playing undefeated teams. Alabama will wore out Texas. Ingram is amazing. McCoy will have an okay day.

Best Freshman

College basketball is here and there are skilled Freshman. Kansas has a sensational Freshman named Xavier Henry. John Wall of Kentucky had Kentucky's last 12 points versus UCONN. He has major skills. Hollis Thompson of Georgetown is a good player but John Wall and Henry are better players. He is '6.7' and went to school at Loyola high school. He went to the same college and high school as my dad. He left Loyola his Junior year when they had a huge run. He picked Georgetown over USC, UCLA, and Duke.

Big East SEC Challenge

In the Big East SEC Challenge there are undefeated matchups. I have UCONN beating Kentucky. I have Syracuse beating Florida. So the Big East will lead 2-0. The Big East is a better conference overall.

SEC Champs!

There is a new SEC champion. Alabama beat Florida 32-13. Mcelroy had the best game of his Junior season. Mark Ingram had 3 TD and 109 yards. Javier Arenas had a huge INT. I got everything good except the score. Tebow threw 1 crucial Interception when they were driving. Alabama is in the Title game. They will either play Texas, TCU, or Cincinatti.

Championship Week

Today I have Pittsburgh beating Cincinatti. Tony Pike won't play well. I have ECU beating Houston. Clemson will beat Georgia Tech in a thriller. Spiller will have a huge day. Texas will have trouble with Nebraska and Nebraska will be crowned the Big 12 champions. Nebraska has a good Offense and their Deffense will come through today. The game we have all been waiting for Florida Alabama. Alabama will win 31-28. Mark Ingram will have a huge day. Rolando Mclain will lead his Deffense. Greg Mcelroy will come up big.

Pasadena

Tonight I have Oregon State going into Autzen and winning versus the Ducks. The Ducks will fail toget to Pasadena to go to the Rose Bowl. Masoli will throw 2 TD and 1 INT. Oregon State will win 31-28.

Which Was Worse?

This week the Which Was Worse was pretty limited. They are 2 different sports though. Was Clemson letting Illinois come back to win when they were winning by 23 points. Or was it Jeff Fisher wearing a Peyton Manning jersey. Fisher said he wanted to feel like a winner. Your facing the Colts this weekend and your the opposing coach wearing the other teams jersey. Clemson let Illinois come back and if they won the ACC would have won the ACC Big Ten Challenge. They left it up to Duke and Duke did not do so well versus Wisconsin.

34 Weeks

Tonight I have Michigan State beating UNC in a thriller. They will get revenge from last year when UNC kicked them in the face in the Title game. I think Tom Izzo is a better coach. It has been 34 weeks since they have met. The Big Ten is beating the ACC in the Big Ten ACC Challenge 3-0.
