The NCAA has been investigating Miami's football program. A booster by the name of Nevin Shapiro said that he gave 72 Miami players ineligible benefits. Those players include starting QB, Jacory Harris. There were talks of Miami receiving the dreaded 'Death Penalty.' If Miami were to be slammed with the 'Death Penalty,' it would be the first time since 1985-88 that a team has received this penalty. SMU got nailed with it for recruiting violations.
