Showdown By The Bay
Tonight Roy Halladay and Tim Lincecum go at it in San Fransisco. The Giants are 3-1 in the series with their ace on the mound. In the first matchup Licecum ruled. He will try getting a win tonight and if all goes according to plan he will get the win. I have them taking it 5-2. Posey will do the same as he did last night. The Giants will close out the Phillies as Lincecum will deal.

Back To The Lone Star State
The Yankees took Game 5 earlier today. They won 7-2 with Sabathia on the mound. C.J. Wilson got his second straight loss. He is the Rangers number 2 pitcher. The series is back in Texas. I think the Rangers will close out the Yanks. As for tonight's game I have the Giants taking it. Sandoval will be playing 3rd Base. The Giants will take Game 4 and take a 3-1 lead in the series.
Tuesday, October 19, 2010
Tonight I have the Giants winning versus the Phillies in a thriller. Uribe and Posey will be huge. The final score will be 6-5. Posey will continue to show up as he is the front runner for the Rookie of the Year Award. Texas leads New York 2-1 in the series. Lee was dominant last night as they won 8-0. The Yanks will take it tonight 5-3. Check back in tommorrow to see my Game 5 and Game 6 picks.

Hit A Cliff
The Yankees and Rangers series is in New York. Tonight Pettite and Lee face off. It looks like the Yanks have hit a "cliff" with Lee on the mound. Pettite is great in October though. But I have to go with Texas in the long run. Vladimir Guerrero will have a good game. Curtis Granderson will come up huge for the Yankees. In the end I have the Rangers winning 4-1.
BCS Standings
Last night the 1st BCS Standings were revealed. For those of you who did not see the results, here they are:
1. Oklahoma
2. Oregon
3. Boise State
4. Auburn
5. TCU
6. LSU
7. Michigan State
8. Alabama
9. Utah
10. Ohio State
As you can see, Oklahoma jumped teams to get to number 1. Demarco Murray has been outstanding. They have a tough challenge ahead when they play Missouri. Oregon took the number 2 spot. They have amazing speed but the question is their defense. They still have to play USC and Arizona. Boise State keeps their number 3 spot. The bad news is that they are getting jumped each week. Auburn and Cam Newton keep rolling as they scored 63 points versus Arkansas' defense. MSU hopped into the top ten for the first time this season. Alabama and Ohio State round out the rankings with Utah. Those are the first BCS Standings of the year. Tune in later in the week to see my Saturday Picks.

Envious
Last night the Yankees were down 5-0 going into the 8th. After 1 big inning the Yankees took the lead. They beat the Rangers 6-5 in Texas. I am no Yankees fan, but you have to give them credit. I have the Rangers taking it today in Texas 5-3. In other news, tonight's matchup between the Giants and Phillies will be the best pitching duel you will see in your life. Two of the best pitchers in the whole league face off. I have Lincecum getting the win for the Giants. Halladay and the Phillies will fall short.
Saturday Picks
Today the first part of games were not that good, but the second part is a different story. In the Michigan versus Iowa game I have Robinson taking care of business. He'll make up for the loss last week. I also Nebraska to take it from Texas in a rematch from last years Big 12 Title Game. Auburn will sneak out alive versus Arkansas. Cam Newton will have a huge game with Michael Dyer. Last week my upset alert came true; South Carolina over Alabama. This week it is Ohio State's turn to get upset. I mean it is in Camp Randell and Wisconsin's backs will be roaring. Those are my picks for the weeks.

Upset Saturday
Today there will be unexpected upsets. I have SC going on the road and given Stanford their 2nd straight loss. I also have Florida State over Miami 24-20. Clemson will beat UNC 34-17. Arizona will rough up Oregon State 27-13. Michigan St. will prove that they are an elite team as they will win 23-17. In the big game I have South Carolina to knock off Alabama 24-23 in the game of the week.

October
The MLB Playoffs start today. I have the Yankees losing to the Twins 4-2. They have not won a game versus a LH Pitcher this season. I also have the Phillies taken care of business at home. The Braves will come into San Fransisco and take Game 1. For the best series of them all I have the Rays over the Rangers 6-5.

Saturday Slate
Today is the biggest week in College Football in the regular season. Rivalry's will be renewed. Teams strike revenge. I have Andrew Luck and Stanford beating the Oregon offense 34-31. I also have Iowa knocking Penn State out of the Top 25. In the Air Force vs. Navy game I have Air Force winning 20-16. I have Michigan State to upset Wisconsin in a huge battle. In the Alabama Florida game I have the Gators losing 24-20 in a close game. Florida will come out firing, but fall short. In the game of the day I have the Oklahoma Sooners to beat Mac Brown's Longhorns in the Red River Rivalry 17-13. Let me give a shoutout to the Fordham Prep Rams. They are 4-0 going into their biggest game of the season versus Holy Cross.
