At 1:00, the Giants and Jets will battle at Metlife Stadium to see who will be kings of New York and to see who will grab the back pages. Both teams are fighting for a Playoff spot. The Jets like to talk a big game while the Giants would rather remain silent. The Giants have an older coach who thinks "talk is cheap." The Jets have younger coach in Rex Ryan who likes to trash talk and motivate his players. The story of this game will be turnovers. Whichever defense forces more turnovers will win the game. It should be a great game, but in the end I like Eli Manning better than Mark Sanchez in the 2-minute-drill. Jason Pierre-Paul should have another monstrous game as he leads the Giants' defense into battle. Everybody in New York will be watching as these two teams take the field.

Early Christmas
USC got an early Christmas present earlier today. Matt Barkley decided that he will play for the Trojans in his senior season instead of entering the draft. He was 6th in the Heisman race, which was absurd to me, because he had better stats then a couple of guys ahead of him. I was a little bit surprised because Matt Kalil left USC and he said they would be making the choice together. On the other hand, he comes from a USC family and this has been his dream ever since he was a little kid. He was highly recruited being the #1 prospect in the ESPNU 150 coming out of high school and a four-year starter at one of the most storied high school football schools in the country. The Trojans have very high expectations next year, coming off a bowl ban. The Trojan community is very happy and will have a lot of hype going into next season. This should be fun to see how this plays out.

Battle by the Bay
Tonight, the 49ers will host the Steelers on Monday Night Football. San Francisco is fresh off a loss to the Cardinals while the Steelers are hitting stride. Both teams are at 10-3 and are looking pretty good. With a win today, the Steelers will be in 1st place of the AFC North. After Baltimore and Houston going down yesterday, the Steelers could be in the #1 spot in the AFC with a win. They do have the tiebreaker over New England. San Francisco on the other hand, clinched their division. They are fighting for the #2 spot in the NFC. It will be a great game, but in the end, even though Big Ben is banged up, the Steelers will come out on top. Every football fan will be watching tonight when the Steelers and 49ers go at it by the bay.

Weekend Wrap-Up
This was one of the most exhilirating weekends in the sports world this year. To start out the weekend, Albert Pujols signed a 10-year contract with the Angels. The Lakers were part of a three-way trade that included their getting Chris Paul. The trade got vetoed, and the Lakers, Hornets, and Rockets are still appealing. Saturday was full of thrills. The #1 and #2 team in the nation for college basketball went down. Ohio State lost against Kansas in the Phog Allen Fieldhouse with Sullinger on the bench. Kentucky got stunned by Indiana with a last-second three point shot to win it. On Saturday night, Outside the Lines reported that NL MVP, Ryan Braun, was using PED. He has a 50 game suspension as of now, but he is appealing. Robert Griffin III was on top of the world on Saturday night. He won the Heisman Trophy in New York. He is the first Baylor player to win this award. Sunday was a big day with last-second thrillers. The Tebow Magic continued as he lead Denver back from a ten-point-deficit with four minutes left as they won in OT, 13-10. The Giants are now at the top of the NFC East after Pierre-Paul blocked a kick in the final seconds. Manning played great in the late 4th quarter. That basically wrapped the weekend up. It was quite an eventful weekend.

"Baylor just won its first Heisman tonight"
Last night, Robert Griffin III won the Heisman trophy in close fashion. Andrew Luck came in second, again. The last week really boosted Griffin's status. Players like Luck and Richardson did not get to play last week. That really hurt them in the long run. The Southeast really won it for Griffin. He got more votes than the players from the Southeast. It was Baylor's first ever Heisman. Griffin III is now a part of the Heisman club with all of the greats.

The Kings of LA
Los Angeles has had a pretty good day. Earlier today, Albert Pujols signed with the Angels. It was a ten year contract. The Angels also acquired CJ Wilson from the Rangers. The Angels are the team to beat in the AL West. It will be fun to see the Rangers and Angels battle it out for the division come September. The Lakers also made a huge deal that will change the NBA. They got Chris Paul in part of a three-way deal. The Rockets were also in on this deal. Pau Gasol is now playing in Houston for the Rockets. Lamar Odom is a member of the Hornets with a few other players and a future draft pick. This trade gives Los Angeles some energy, but they do lose two really key rebounders. It will be cool to see how this plays out. All in all, LA had a pretty nice day.

Bowl Season is Back!
It is that great time of the year again. College football's bowl season is back. The first game is on December 17 at 2 pm. when Temple and Wyoming go at it in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl. Bowl season will end on the night of January 9 after Alabama and LSU battle for the National Championship. Oklahoma State fell short of the National Championship, but will take on Stanford in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. There is one game that caught my eye. That game is the Capitol One Bowl when Nebraska and South Carolina go at it. It will once again be a great bowl season, so check back every day for my picks and analasys.

Big Blue in the Big Easy
The struggling Giants will meet Drew Brees and the Saints in New Orleans. The Giants have lost two straight and are still sitting on top of the NFC East with the Cowboys. The Giants need this win to keep up with Dallas who is hitting its stride. The Saints are fresh off a bye. They have been averaging 31.3 points a game. Jonathan Vilma is questionable with a knee injury. The Saints are 4-0 at the Superdome. The Falcons are 1/2 a game out of first place behind the Saints. The Saints do have the advantage with a win over Atlanta in OT. It will be a back and forth game, but the Giants will somehow manage to pull it out in the last couple of moments. Manning is one of the best 2 minute drill Quarterbacks in the league. This will be a huge momentum builder for the Big Blue. The fans in the Big Easy will come happy and leave sad.

Rivalry Recap
The college football world is still in a frenzy. Things cleared up a little yesterday. Alabama destroyed Auburn 42-14 in the Iron Bowl. They are set up to play in the National Championship but not even play in their conference championship. LSU will face Georgia in the SEC Championship. Even if LSU loses, they will still most likely be in the National Championship. Virginia Tech will play in the ACC Championship against the only team to defeat them, Clemson. Tech demolished Virginia yesterday 38-0. Frank Beamer has his team playing some of the best ball in the country. I truly believe they can keep up against an Alabama type of team. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will battle it out next week to see who wins the Big 12. Wisconsin and Michigan State will go at it for the Big 10 Championship. Oregon and UCLA will be in the PAC-12 Championship. UCLA got demolished yesterday against their crosstown rivals, USC, 50-0. Here is my top 15 teams in the country:
1. LSU- They are just monsters on defense and one of the best teams people will see in a long time.
2. Alabama- It was a big win for the Tide, they also managed to get lots of style points.
3. Virginia Tech- They are hitting stride and are destined to win the ACC Championship.
4. Oklahoma State- Not playing this week will hurt them. They have a big game in Oklahoma next week.
5. Houston- Keenum keeps on putting up big numbers as the Cougars keep on rolling.
6. Stanford- Luck and the Cardinals rolled against the Fighting Irish in their new uniforms.
7. Oklahoma- They have a big matchup against OSU to decide the Big 12.
8. Oregon- The Ducks defeated Oregon State in the Civil War. Next up: PAC-12 Championship v.s. UCLA
9. Arkansas- The Razorbacks have two losses to the two best teams in the country. Only faith knows the way.
10. Boise State- They failed to win the Mountain West. Moore only has one more game as a Bronco.
11. Michigan State- Have a big game against Wisconsin. The Badgers want revenge.
12. South Carolina- Got a huge win over their rivals clemson.
13. Georgia- Will face LSU in the SEC Championship.
14.Wisconsin-MSU will have a tough time against the Badgers. Two deep passes decided the Badger's season.
15. Michigan- Brady Hoke is a hero. The Wolverines got their first win over Ohio State in 8 years.

BCS Madness
The college football world has had one of the craziest 48 hours in a long time. After three top 5 teams fell, the BCS rankings will change dramatically. Oklahoma State went down on Friday night at Iowa State. The Cowboys defense was not that impressive. Iowa State did outsmart Mike Gundy and the entire Oklahoma State coaching staff. Robert Griffin III went off last night on Oklahoma as Baylor got their first ever win against the Sooners. The Bears got a few lucky plays, but they really have one of the best offenses in the nation. Kendall Wright is the most underrated Wide Receiver in all of college football. He is an absolute game changer. Bob Stoops did call a questionable timeout late in the game when Baylor was trying to run the clock out and go to Overtime. The #4 team in the nation also went down. USC stunned Oregon last night in Eugene. Oregon had a lot of silly mistakes. They fumbled the ball with 18 seconds left to go in the 1st half when they were in field goal range. They also had a blocked kick that lead to three points for the Trojans. Those were all of the big upsets this weekend. Here is how I think the top 10 should be:
1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Arkansas
4. Virginia Tech
5. Oklahoma State
6. Houston
7. Oregon
8. Stanford
9. Oklahoma
10. Boise State
1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Arkansas
4. Virginia Tech
5. Oklahoma State
6. Houston
7. Oregon
8. Stanford
9. Oklahoma
10. Boise State

Palo Alto Showdown
The Oregon Ducks will travel to Palo Alto to take on Andrew Luck and Stanford. This game will decide the PAC 12 North. Stanford will clinch the North Division with a win. If Oregon wins, they control their own destiny. This will be Stanford's toughest test of the year. I think that Oregon will move up and down the field easily. Stanford's defense has been hyped too much. Oregon will have full control of this game. The Ducks will shock the Cardinal fans tonight. All college football fans will be watching when the Oregon Ducks battle Stanford in primetime.

Battle in Baltimore
In just a couple of minutes the Ravens and Steelers will battle it out on the gridiron. Pittsburgh is looking for revenge after they got demolished to open out the season. These two teams absolutely despise each other. Ray Rice has been the star for the Ravens this year. He actually grew up in the town right near me. He put up huge numbers in the first game in Pittsburgh. The Steelers are riding high on momentum after a big win against the Patriots. Haloti Ngata and the Ravens' defensive line will have a huge game. It will be a back and forth game, but in the end, the Ravens will get it done. The Charms City will be rocking tonight for the game of the week.
Saturday, October 29, 2011
It Takes More Than Luck
USC and Stanford will battle at the Coliseum tonight on primetime. Andrew Luck and Stanford are riding high while USC just beat Notre Dame. Both teams are high on emotions. This will be a battle of two of the best pro prospects. Matt Barkley and Andrew Luck are both having tremendous seasons. Both have underrated running games that will help them. Marqise Lee will put up great numbers. I have been big on this guy all year and I think he will have a huge game tonight. I think Stanford will be on upset alert tonight. USC's secondary will defend Luck well. TJ McDonald will have a breakout game for the Trojans' defense. If you like Quarterbacks, you are in for a treat tonight. All fans will be watching as #6 Stanford travels down south to take on USC.
Rally Birds
The Cardinals are the 2011 World Series champions! It has been an incredible story for the Cards. They were 10 games out of it in August. There was no way they would make it, much less win it. Then, it happened. The Braves started slipping and St. Louis caught stride. They clinched their Playoff berth on the last day of the regular season. After that, they knocked off the Phillies. That is when the fantasy started to become real. The Brewers were their next test. They stunned the baseball world and defeated Milwaukee. All that was standing in their way of a title was the Texas Rangers. They had home-field advantage thanks to Prince Fielder's home run in the All-Star Game. When all hope seemed lost, they were down to their last out, their last strike, and they tied the ballgame up with a big hit. David Freese had a walk-off home run to go to a Game 7. The Cardinals defense came up big as they beat Texas 6-2. It was a historic run by the Cardinals. They bought another title home to arguably the best baseball town in America.

Tebow Time
It is Tim Tebow's time to show all the critics what he can do. He will start in the game against the Dolphins. They are honoring the 2008 Florida National Championship team which Tebow was on. Tebow's every step will be watched. As you can imagine, there will be a lot of fans rooting for him. That could give him a boost. It is a good day to start considering the Broncos are facing the 0-5 Dolphins. All eyes will be watching Tebow and the Broncos when they take the field against the Dolphins.

Clash in South Bend
USC and Notre Dame's rivalry will be renewed tonight in South Bend. The Trojans will look for revenge from last year. It will be a very interesting game. This is one of the first night games at Notre Dame in years. Both teams have star wide receivers. Robert Woods and Michael Floyd are both great prospects. Marqise Lee will come up big for the Trojans. If he is single covered, he will be dangerous. He has been in the shadows of Robert Woods, but he has put up some big numbers this year. Manti Teo will have a big game for the Irish defense. It will be a great game, but USC will run away with it late. Everybody will be watching when college football's biggest rivalry takes place.
Tuesday, October 18, 2011
New Sherriff in Town
There is a new sheriff in town in the American League. After the Rangers dismantled the Tigers, they clinched their second World Series berth in the last two seasons. The Cardinals, who looked out of it in the middle of August will face off with the Rangers tonight. Chris Carpenter will be on the mound for St. Louis against CJ Wilson. Wilson is 0-2 in his Playoff starts this year. He will look to get back on track tonight. It will be a great game but in the end, the Rangers will take Game 1. All baseball fans will be watching when the Cardinals and Rangers battle at Busch Stadium.
Sunday, October 16, 2011
The Story of Romo
Tony Romo and the Cowboys will travel up north to Foxborough to try and knock off the Tom Brady and the Patriots. As you well know, Romo has dealt with a lot of criticism. Nobody knows what to expect. Romo will have an easier task going up against New England's defense. Dez Bryants will continue to play great as he will put up big numbers. Deion Branch will come up big for the Pats. It will be a fun game to watch, but in the end, the Patriots will come out with the victory. New England will be roaring when Brady and the Patriots take the field against Romo and the Cowboys.

Saturday Slate
There is a great slate of games this Saturday. There are two that catch my eye. At noon, it is little brother versus big brother. Michigan and Michigan State will battle. If the Spartans can limit Dernard Robinson, they will have a shot to win. Big brother will have the upper hand today, though. Michigan will remain undefeated. Arizona State and Oregon will go at it in Eugene on primetime. I think Vontaze Burfict will play great as he will lead the Sun Devils do a victory. Now that I have given you my picks, grab a bag of chips and sit down and watch some football.

Week 5 Picks
There are a couple of games that have caught my eye this week. The Eagles and Bills will go at it in Buffalo. Ryan Fitzpatrick will come out on fire. Steve Johnson will have a big game for the Bills. Buffalo will be roaring as the Eagles will fall to 1-4. The Jets will take on the Pats in Foxborough. The Patriots will just dominate. Their defense will surprisingly come up big. The Jets won't be able to stop Brady. On primetime, the Falcons will try to knock off the Packers. Rodgers will be rolling on all cylinders. The Packers' defense will be stellar against Matt Ryan. In the end, the Packers will win handily. Now that I have given you my picks, sit down on the couch and enjoy yourself this Columbus Day weekend.
Saturday, October 8, 2011
Red River Showdown
Today one of the biggest rivalries in sports is renewed. Oklahoma and Texas will battle at the Cotton Bowl. Case McCoy is a future star. The Longhorns have gone under the radar this year. The Sooners' defense will have trouble stopping Texas' offense. Malcolm Brown, the Freshman from Steele High School, will have a tremendous game. Landry Jones and Ryan Broyles will be unstoppable. It will be a great game, but in the end, Texas will get the upset. One of college football's biggest rivalries will take place again today. All eyes will be watching when the Sooners and the Longhorns will face off at the Texas State Fair.
Sunday, October 2, 2011
There are some great games today. At 1:00, the Lions will take on the Cowboys in Dallas. The Lions defense will be stellar. The Lions will leave Dallas remaining undefeated. The Saints will battle with the Jaguars in Jacksonville. The Saints will win by double digits. Mark Ingram will have a big day for the Saints. The Steelers and Texans will battle in Houston. This game will come down to which team can run the ball better. If that is what I think it will be, the Texans will get the win. Demeco Ryans will be huge for the Texans on defense. It will be a great game, but the Texans will get the victory. You have been waiting for this day all week, so go watch some football and enjoy yourself.
Saturday, October 1, 2011
Contender or Pretender
There are a lot of top 25 games this weekend that will show if teams are contenders or pretenders. At noon, Texas A&M will travel to take on Arkansas. Jeff Fuller will have a huge game for the Aggies. Texas A&M will come out rolling after last week's game. It will come down to the last possession, but A&M will escape with a victory. Alabama and Florida will battle in the swamp. Bama's defense will just be too much for Florida. The Tide will win in easy fashion.Nebraska and Wisconsin will have a tough gridiron battle. Taylor Martinez has faced a lot of criticism with him throwing the ball. He will prove all of those critics wrong and he will have the biggest statistical game of his career. Nebraska will come up with the victory. My team on upset alert is Baylor. They have to face a tough Kansas State team. The Kansas State defense is the real deal, but Robert Griffin III can tear anybody up. It will be a great game, but the Wildcats will get the upset. This could be one of the biggest weeks in college football this year. So just sit down and watch some football!
Sunday, September 25, 2011
Week 3 Slate
There is a great slate of games today. There are a couple of matchups that catch my eye. The Ravens will battle with the Rams in St. Louis. It will be a fun game to watch. The Ravens defense will have a hard time stopping Bradford. Joe Flacco will be on the money. It will be a great game, but in the end, the Ravens will leave St. Louis with a win. The Buccaneers will take on the Falcons. Josh Freeman will step up and lead Tampa Bay to a victory. Both teams are coming off wins. The Bucs defense will come up big late in the game. The Packers and Bears will face off. It will be an explosive game. The Packers defense is banged up. It will come down to the last possession. It will be a close game, but Green Bay will come away with the win. Now that I have told you my predictions, your job is to sit down and watch some football.
Saturday, September 24, 2011
Duel in Morgantown
Later on tonight, LSU will take on West Virginia under the lights. Morgantown will be riled up just like they were for College Gameday. LSU's quick defense will have to contain Geno Smith. Both teams have tremendous speed. LSU will have the edge with their toughness. It will be an exciting game to watch, but in the end, LSU will run away with it. All college football fans will be watching when LSU takes the field against the Mountaineers of West Virginia. I have to give a shoutout to the Fordham Prep Rams as they take on St. Anthony's tonight.
Monday, September 19, 2011
Earlier today Mariano Rivera broke the all-time saves record. He picked up his 602 save to pass Trevor Hoffman for the all time saves record. This certifies Rivera's spot as best reliever of all time. Rivera is a 12 time all-star and has won 5 World Series. You could say that the Yankees would not have won at least half of those 5 World Series without Rivera. He has finished 881 games. He was also the 1999 World Series MVP. Rivera has done a lot of amazing things throughout his career, but this could be his favorite. The Yanks defeated the Blue Jays. The Yanks have ran away from Boston. From Jeter's 3,000 hit to this, the Yanks have had a pretty big year.
Sunday, September 18, 2011
The Return of Vick
Michael Vick is making his return to Atlanta today. He will face the Quarterback that replaced him in Matt Ryan. It will be an offensive game. The Falcons are coming off a Week 1 loss against the Bears. The Eagles took care of business last week. Their run defense looked a little shaky but their offense was explosive. Atlanta will need to limit the turnovers. Julio Jones will be a force to be reckoned with. Brent Celek will have a huge game. It will be a high scoring battle, but in the end, the Falcons will come out on top. All eyes will be on Michael Vick and the Eagles when they go at it with the Falcons on Sunday Night Football.
Saturday, September 17, 2011
Revenge
There is a spectacular slate of games this weekend. Michigan State will try to send the Fighting Irish to an 0-3 start. Kirk Cousins will be remarkable. Edwin Baker will come up big for the Spartans. In the end, I like Michagan State's defense to prevail. Clemson will end Auburn's winning streak once and for all. Sam Watkins will come up big for Clemson. In the biggest game of the night, Florida State will seek revenge versus Oklahoma. EJ Manuel will come up big for the Seminoles as FSU will come away with the victory. There are other great matchups to, so grab some food, get comfortable, and watch some college football.
Sunday, September 11, 2011
It's Sunday!
There are a lot of great matchups to start out the year. There are three in particular. The Ravens and Steelers will go head-to-head at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. Haloti Ngata will be a big key for the Ravens. Rashard Mendenhall will put up big numbers for the Steelers. It will come down to the last possession. Joe Flacco will come up big in the clutch and lead the Ravens to victory. The Buccaneers and Lions will battle in Tampa. The Lions will come out rolling on all cylinders. Their defense will be stellar the whole game. The Lions will run away with it and prove that they are for real. On primetime, the Jets and Cowboys will face off at MetLife Stadium. The Cowboys will just dominate from start to finish. Dez Bryant will have a big game. Dallas will get the win handily. Today will be a great day for watching football.
Saturday, September 10, 2011
Battle in the Big House
Tonight, Notre Dame and Michigan will battle in Ann Arbor. This will be the first ever night game at the Big House. The Irish will try to bounce back after they lost last week. Michigan will try to get their 2nd win with Brady Hoke. In order for Michigan to win, their defense must rise to the occasion. Michael Floyd will make that hard for the Wolverines. Denard Robinson will be hooking up with Roy Roundtree the whole game. It will be a great game to watch but in the end, Michigan will come out victorious. All eyes will be watching when the Fighting Irish will battle the Michigan Wolverines on primetime at the Big House.
Thursday, September 8, 2011
Ready For Football
Tonight the two defending Super Bowl Champions will battle it out in Green Bay. The Packers, lead by Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers, will try to start out their season with a bang against Drew Brees and the Saints. Mark Ingram will get a lot of carries. He is a great addition to the Saints. Charles Woodson will be matched up against Marcus Colston. The Packers defense will hold off the Saints' offense for most of the game. The Wide Receiving core for the Packers is stellar. They added to that by drafting Randall Cobb from Kentucky. He was very underrated, but I have had the privilege to watch him play. He could come up big for the Packers. In the end, I think the Packers will come out on top. It will be a great start to the season. All eyes will be watching as these two teams battle it out.
Saturday, September 3, 2011
3 Reasons Not to Leave Your House
Today you have two of the biggest games of the season. Two top five teams in Oregon and LSU will battle in Arlington. Chip Kelly's quick offense will go up against Les Miles' defense. Oregon will have a hard time with the Tiger defensive line. The big loss for LSU is that they do not have Jordan Jefferson. They do not have one of their best wide receivers either, Russell Shepard. Oregon is without Cliff Harris. Boise State will try to prove once again that they can play with the big boys. This time their dealing with Georgia. Both teams have great quarterbacks. Kellen Moore lost his two best receivers to the NFL. Doug Martin will be the key guy for Boise. Notre Dame will start out their season against South Florida. BJ Daniels is one of the most underrated quarterbacks in college football. Dayne Christ will be connecting with Michael Floyd all game. It will be back and forth the whole game. Here are my predictions for Week 1:
USF 23 v.s. Notre Dame 16
Boise State 24 v.s. Georgia 33
Oregon 27 v.s. LSU 20

Texas Showdown
On the second day of college football, Baylor will face off against #14 TCU. Baylor is my dark horse in the Big 12. Robert Griffin III will be rolling on all cylinders. This young man is a fantastic quarterback. TCU will have trouble replacing Andy Dalton. The Horned Frogs' defense will hold their ground and keep TCU in it. It will come down to the last possession. In the end, I think the Baylor Bears will get the upset. It will be a great start to Baylor's season. The fans in Waco will be riled up tonight when TCU and Baylor battle.
Thursday, September 1, 2011
It's Finally Here!
College football season is upon us. Murray State and Louisville will face off at 6:00. The Cardinals will handily win. Wisconsin will look to start out the year with a win against UNLV. Russell Wilson will make his Badger debut. Monte Ball and James White will be running like crazy. The fans at Camp Randall will be really fired up. In the end, Wisconsin will get the win. The football season is finally here and in just a couple of minutes the chase for the title will begin.

College Football Now
With only one day away from the start of the season, the college football world is buzzing. Texas A&M officially declared that they will be leaving the Big 12 by June 2012. They are likely to go to the SEC. They will be starting at the bottom of the pack if they head to the SEC. They will barely get into a bowl in a conference that good. In other news, Miami had 8 players suspended from games. There is likely more to come. They have some tests to start with. If they could get out of their first six games with a 4-2 record it would be somewhat of a success. Check back later because I will be blogging all week to prepare for college football season.

East Meets West
Tomorrow Huntington Beach, CA. will represent the United States in the Little League World Series against the well rounded team from Japan. California represented the West in the US Bracket. They went 4-1 in their games against American opponents. Their only loss was to Billings, Montana. They redeemed themselves earlier with an 11-2 win over the team from Billings. Japan also went 4-1. They defeated Mexico in the International Bracket Championship. Braydon Salzman is the probable starter for Huntington Beach. Japan will be ready to go. It is very rare for Japan to commit errors. They are great with fundamentals. California will come out on top in the end, though. All eyes will be on the little kids from Huntington Beach and Japan when they take the field at 3:00 ET.

The Death of Miami Football
The NCAA has been investigating Miami's football program. A booster by the name of Nevin Shapiro said that he gave 72 Miami players ineligible benefits. Those players include starting QB, Jacory Harris. There were talks of Miami receiving the dreaded 'Death Penalty.' If Miami were to be slammed with the 'Death Penalty,' it would be the first time since 1985-88 that a team has received this penalty. SMU got nailed with it for recruiting violations. There will be a lot more discussion on this topic.

Heading East
There were rumors that Texas A&M were heading to the SEC. There is still a chance that they stay in the Big 10. If they are to head east it would not make much sense. They would have to start at the bottom of the pack in most sports. Their football team will have a much harder time winning games. Missouri, Florida State, and Clemson are actually thinking of making the switch. Missouri's Athletic Director, Michael Alden, said that the Tigers will stay right where they are. There is still a possibility that they will join the SEC. This move could change college sports dramatically. It looks like the Big 10 is falling apart.

Free Agency Latest
There has been a lot of chaos in the NFL free agency. Donovan McNabb started things off by going to the Vikings. Nnamdi Asomghua decided to head east and play for the Eagles. This will make the Eagles into a definite contender. Plaxico Burress is back in the New York groove. Except not with Big Blue. He signed with the Jets just yesterday. Earlier today Randy Moss shocked everybody by retiring. After 12 seasons, he decided to throw in the towel, which is weird because his agent said he was in "freakish shape." There is still more to come in this crazy free agency.

Open for Business!
Earlier this morning, the NFLPA and NFL came to a deal. It was a unanimous decision by the 32 teams. The owners agreed to the proposed CBA agreement by the NFLPA. It has been over 125 days that the players have been locked out. Finally, the lockout has been lifted. After many months of arguing and negotiating, the two sides came to a deal. Free agency will start about next week. The teams will have the next few days to sign their players. Although all the stress in your life, you can at least know that football will be played next fall.

College Football Preview
The college football season is just around the corner. To get you ready, I will give you my Heisman front-runners, conference title picks, and of course, BCS predictions. My Heisman candidates may shock you a little. From out west, I have one of the most pro-ready Quarterbacks in the collegiate level. Not Andrew Luck, but Matt Barkley. He has tremendous receivers from Robert Woods to George Farmer. Brandon Weeden will try to lead his OSU Cowboys to a Big 12 Title and a BCS Bowl birth. On his drive to be a Heisman threat, he will have a lot of help with receiver Justin Blackmon. After an amazing Freshmen season, Marcus Lattimore will be a Heisman dark horse. There is always Kellen Moore up in Boise. He will contend for the trophy. In the end, I think Weeden will receive the honorable trophy.
In the Big East, I think South Florida will take the crown. This division is always shaked up. The ACC will be a tight race this year. North Carolina has amazing athleticism. They will finally get that ACC title that they have been waiting for. They had amazing talent last year, but could not show it do to NCAA sanctions. The new Big 12 will be fun to watch. Nebraska and Wisconsin will battle it out with a BCS Bowl bid on the line. I think the Cornhuskers will come out on top. Out in the PAC 12, things will get rough. The North is a much tougher division. Oregon will come out alive to face Arizona State. USC cannot participate in the title game do to sanctions. Arizona State will come close to the upset, but the Ducks will come out PAC-12 Champions. They will clinch a Rose Bowl bid. The Sun Devils will be the team to watch throughout college football. The Big 10 will be exciting. There will be no championship game do to the departure of Nebraska and Colorado. Oklahoma State will just grind it out over Texas A&M to take the Big 10 crown. The SEC will be as crazy as ever. The conference is up for grabs. South Carolina and LSU will go at it for the trophy. Although the Tigers are on a 1-year probation, they will hoist the trophy.
The Orange Bowl will be a battle between Wisconsin and North Carolina. The folks from Camp Randall will be heartbroken from the Tar Heels. The Fiesta Bowl will be a matchup between Boise State and South Florida. Boise's high powered offense will be to tough to defend for the Bulls. Kellen Moore will get a victory as his final game as a Bronco. The Sugar Bowl will be a shootout with South Carolina and Texas A&M. South Carolina will get the victory. After playing lousy defense all game, the Gamecocks will come up with a stop in the final seconds. The Grandaddy of them all will be an exhilirating matchup between Oregon and Nebraska. Oregon will represent the PAC-12 well with a Rose Bowl win. In the BCS National Championship, Oklahoma State will go at it with powerhouse LSU. It will be a close game throughout, but the Tigers will pull ahead at the end to claim the crown. It will be a tremendouse ending to a tremendous season. It will all start on September 2nd.

Finale in Frankfurt
In just a couple of hours, the U.S. will face off with Japan in the World Cup Finals. The last time the U.S. won a World Cup was in 1999. The team is tired of being compared to the '99 team. A win for Japan would mean so much to the country, especially after the tsunami earlier this year. Japan has the speed but the U.S. is much bigger and stronger. I believe that it will come down to the goalies. If that is true, I think Hope Solo will have the advantage. In the end, I think that the Americans will come up on top. Soccer fans from all over will be watching when these two teams take the field in Frankfurt, Germany.

End of the Lockout?
Sources are saying that today could be the end of the NFL Lockout. The owners have locked the players out for 122 days, but today could be the day that the lockout is lifted. The two sides have made a lot of progress over the last week. On Wednesday, they spent 10 hours negotiating. Lots of players have found stuff to do in the lockout period like Chad Ochocinco and Dhani Jones. As you well know, Ochocinco tried soccer and bull riding. Jones wrote a book called "The Sportsman: Unexpected Lessons from an Around-the-World Sports Odyssey." By the end of today, these players will go back to what they love most. All of the fans are hoping that the two sides come to an agreement by the end of the day. Fans will have their eyes glued to the television to see if a deal is made by the players and owners.

Money Ball
Earlier today Derek Jeter got into the elite group of players with 3,000 hits. He nailed a homer to get his 3,000 hit. His whole family was watching in their box seats. It was great that the ball was a homer. That ball could be worth more than $25,000. Jeter got a huge standing ovation. I was watching it live with everybody crowding around the television. I am not a Yankee fan, but I was excited for Jeter. At the end of the game he had gone 5-5. Derek has been one of the best hustlers in the game and it has payed off once again.

The Buckeye State's Troubles
A year after LeBron James left Cleveland to go down to Miami, they decided to vacate wins from Ohio State's 2010 football season. The Buckeye's will not lose any scholarships or get a postseason ban. That could still change over the next month, though. They had every game vacated. The Buckeye fans in Columbus expected this. It can't get much worse from here for the Buckeye faithful unless the NCAA gives them more penalties. It looks like there still could be more to come in this scandal. It will be interesting to see how the players at Ohio State respond to this. From LeBron to Ohio State, it really has not been a good year for Ohio.

Wimbledon's New Champion
Earlier today Novak Djokovic defeated Rafael Nadal to claim the Wimbledon crown. He won the match in 4 sets. This was his 3rd Grand Slam. Nadal is now 10-3 in Grand Slam Finals. All three of his losses were at Wimbledon. Djokovic will be named the world's #1 player this week. This win moved Djokovic to 48-1 this year. This win is just a glimpse of what is to come in the tennis world.

Around the Cup
The Women's World Cup started earlier today when France took on Nigeria. The French expected to win in easy fashion but only came out of the game with 1 goal. That goal still managed to get them the win. Germany battled Canada in the second game. Germany came out with the 2-0 lead. In the 82nd minute Canada got a big goal. They lost, but that goal was huge for the Canadians. The next matchup in that group will be France and Canada. That will be a very exciting match. The Americans will start on Tuesday versus North Korea. These two teams do have a history against each other. They will leave all of it behind when they take the field. The Americans also have to play on July 2 against Colombia and have to finish up on the 6th when they face off with Sweden. This World Cup is finally off and running. The committee did a great job planning this. Over 87,000 were at the stadium today. All eyes will be watching when players from all around the world represent their countries.

NBA Draft Preview
Tonight the stars of college basketball will take the next step into their career. The Cavs are still debating over who they should pick with the #1 pick. The two candidates are Derrick Williams and Kyrie Irving. They also have the fourth pick after they won it at the NBA Draft Lottery. I think Irving is explosive but Williams I think will be a better player to try to build a franchise around. Each will obviously have big expectations. Irving only played 11 games. He is a great player, but he has not proven to me that he can be a star in the NBA. A big question is if Kemba Walker can be a star. He to me, is one of the most reliable draft picks that you could take. He is a proven winner. He actually played for an AAU team in NYC near me. There are a couple good draft picks that a team later on in the 1st round could get. JaJuan Johnson is a solid pick who could go in the last five picks of the 1st round. The player that I think will most likely be a star is Alec Burks. At 8:00, the future stars will start the beginning of their NBA profession.

Now or Never
In just a couple hours the Vancouver Canucks will battle with the Boston Bruins in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. The crowd in Vancouver will be rowdy. The Sedin twins have not stepped up in these last couple of games. Although their struggles, I think they will play well. This series has been all you could ask for and more. There has been biting, hard hitting, and an OT goal. Tonight I think the Canucks will take it and hoist the crown. Vancouver will be roaring tonight for Game 7. Everybody will be watching when both teams take the ice.

Edge of the Cliff
Cornerback and Wide Receiver of Oregon, Cliff Harris, got caught going at a speed of 118 MPH in a car that he got from an employee at Oregon. The amazing athlete out of California could follow in LaMichael James' footsteps. James got suspended for the first game of Oregon's season last year. They still blew New Mexico out 72-0. This year however, Oregon battles LSU in the season opener. Harris was a key to success for the Ducks last year. If Harris is out for that first game it would be a huge loss for the team up in Eugene. We can only watch how the rest of this story plays out.

Getting it Done
After all the years of waiting, the Mavs have finally got the title they have waited for. Dirk is in an elite club of great players now that he got his ring. The final score was 105-95. Dirk has carried this team through the years, but this year everybody played their part. Terry came firing out of the gates. He had 19 points in the 1st half. The win is Dallas' first franchise title. The Mavs finally got revenge on Miami from 2006. The Big 3 will have to restart their chase for a title next year. It seems like just yesterday that LeBron was on 'The Decision.' Next thing you know, Dallas will start their quest for a repeat. All I have to say is that it was a great season.
The Heatles' Last Breath
The whole NBA season LeBron James was criticized for 'taking his talents to South Beach.' Him and the Heat faced every bump in the road, but finally made it to the Finals. The Mavs flew under the radar for most of the year, but after they swept the Lakers, everybody knew they were for real. In Game 4, Dirk Nowitzki had a temperature of 102 degrees. He was sick the whole game but he lead his team to victory. LeBron and Wade were caught mocking him being sick. That stirred up some controversy. This series has been a fun one but it will come to an end tonight. I have had the Mavs to win this series from the beginning so I have to stay with them here. I just think that the Mavs will go into this game with the mindset that this is Game 7. The whole world will be watching when the Mavs and Heat battle it out in the Magic City.

Battle in the Big-D
In just a matter of minutes, the Heat and Mavs will battle in Dallas. With the series tied 2-2, both teams will try to have the advantage going into Miami for Game 6. The Mavs know that if they don't win tonight that their title chances are slim. I think that DeShawn Stevenson will back up his words and be the X-Factor tonight. It will be a hard fought game but in the end, the Mavs will come out on top. Everybody will be watching when the stars take the floor in the Big-D.

Crunchtime Performer
After the Heat escaped in Game 3, the Mavs are looking to even the series up at two games a piece. Dirk called out Jason Terry and said that he has not been good in 'crunch time.' If you are a Dallas fan, you hope these words will motivate Terry. I think that is exactly what they will do. Although I don't like calling out a player when you are this far into the Playoffs. I think the Mavs' bench will come alive. This game will be close but Dallas will pull away in the end. The Mavs will be rolling on all cylinders. All eyes will be on the Heat and Mavs when they take the floor in the Big-D.
Pryor's Farewell
Earlier today Terrelle Pryor announced that he will not stay at Ohio State for his senior season. He was supposed to miss the first five games due to selling memorabilia in return for tattoos. I find it sad how the NCAA is fine with making money off these kids but they don't even care about their education. Now that Pryor is gone, he has a couple of choices. He is going to spend the summer with a trainer to work on his skills. He can either try to enter the Supplemental Draft, play for the Canadian Football League [CFL], or he can use this next year to train for the 2012 NFL Draft. Nobody really knows what Pryor is going to do, all we know is that he will not put on a Buckeye jersey again. Here is a picture of Pryor as a Buckeye:

Title Stripped
This afternoon the NCAA stripped USC of its 2004 National Championship. They ruled that Reggie Bush had received improper benefits and was ineligible for the 2004 season. This is the first time a college football team has had a title stripped in the poll era, which began in 1936. The Trojans are still on a 1-year bowl ban from Bush's allegations. They will not be able to participate in the PAC-12's inaugural championship game. It looks like things can't get that much worse for the Trojans and their fan base.
Released!
After being put in jail on September 22, 2009, Plaxico Burress was released today. The Super Bowl champion shot himself in the leg at a club. At the hospital, he claimed to be someone else. While in custody, he missed the birth of his child. His family flew down to Florida to greet Burress. Here is a picture of the star as he was released:

Magic City Duel
The Mavs and Heat will battle in the Magic City for Game 2 of the NBA Finals. After last game, when nobody on Dallas could really get going, they will try to redeem themselves. The bench did not play like the bench we know. Terry and Barea did not put up the numbers that they are used and they were missing open shots. The Heat will try to go into Dallas with the 2-0 advantage. LeBron has stepped up lately and has been proving himself throughout the playoffs. Wade came up big late when him and James just took over the game. Tonight I think Shawn Marion will play well and will get more touches down in the paint. I like Dallas to steal this game and go back to Dallas with a chip on their shoulder. The whole world will be watching when the Mavs and Heat take the floor.

Two Countries, One Championship
The Stanley Cup starts in just a matter of moments. The Bruins will try to go into Vancouver and quiet the crowd. Roberto Luongo has played well these Playoffs and will continue to do so tonight. The Sedin twins will come out rolling on all cylinders. Zdeno Charo will play well for the Bruins. In the end I think the Canucks will get the win. Vancouver will be roaring tonight when the puck drops to start the Stanley Cup Finals.

Bring on the Heat
Tonight is the NBA Finals. The Mavs and Heat will battle in South Beach. Dirk and LeBron are both going for their first title. There are many matchup problems for both teams. Dirk will cause a lot of trouble at the beginning if they put Bosh on him. If they decide to double team him I expect Tyson Chandler to step up. The Heat's agility will be tough for the Mavs. They cannot give Miami a lot of fast break opportunities. In the end, I think the Mavs will take Game 1. The Mavs' bench will be on fire. Terry and Barea will be hard to stop and will give the Mavs fresh legs. This is the day we have all been waiting for. From "The Decision," to training camp, to the regular season, that lead to the Playoffs. Now, it all comes down to this. Which team will rise to the occasion? We will find out in just a couple minutes.

Anybody Care to Lax?
Today is the NCAA Lacrosse Championship. Virginia, lead by Steele Stanwick will try to capture the crown over Maryland with star Attackmen Ryan Young and Grant Catalino. These two ACC teams contributed to the ACC's dominant play during the NCAA Tournament. The ACC went 7-0 versus other conferences. The Terps are motivated like no other team. Young's mother died earlier this year and the team has used that as their motivation. Virginia has had a tough road this year. They started out dominant but a lot of it fell apart when Schamell and Ramell Bratton were suspended for missing practices. Later on, Schamell got dismissed for DUI. This game is basically a home game for Maryland. In the end, I think Maryland will get the win in thrilling fashion. It will definitely be hard to top last year's Title game but I think they can do it. Everybody will be watching ESPN at 3:30 when Maryland battles Virginia.
Tressel Says Goodbye
Earlier today Jim Tressel resigned. This left the world and especially the Buckeye community in shock. He coached 10 years down in Columbus and had a record of 106-22. He also won the 2002 National Championship. Luke Fickell will be interim head coach. He was supposed to be interim head coach during the five games that Tressel got suspended for. It looks like this is the end of Jim Tressel era at Ohio State.

Messi Strikes Again
Yesterday, Barcelona took the Champions League crown. They defeated Manchester United 3-1. Leoni Messi had a goal to take the when the score was tied 1-1. After his goal, Barcelona ran away with it. More than 70% of the nation thought Manchester United would win. It was a hard fought game, but when it was all said and done, Barcelona bought the trophy back to Spain.

We're Back!
After the Mavs clinched a ticket to the NBA Finals, they will be looking to see who they play. The one thing they know for sure is that they will be on the road. It could be a matchup of 2006 Finals when Dwayne Wade lead Miami to a title. The Bulls are down to their last breath versus the Heat. The battle will be in Chicago. I believe that the only way the Bulls can win is if Luol Deng steps up. When LeBron and Bosh double Rose, Deng has to hit down those threes. In the end, I think that Chicago will get the win. The Mavs will most cerrtainly be watching tonight's game.

Best in West
With the series tied up 1-1, the Thunder and Mavs look to take the series lead in OKC. There was some controversy with Scott Brooks benching Russel Westbrook for the whole 4th quarter of Thursday's game. I think he will bounce back in front of the Thunder fans. This means more than anything to OKC. Nate Robinson took a video on his phone when they were getting off the plane at about midnight. Outside it was thundering and lightning but that did not stop the fans. The Thunder will please their fans tonight as they will get the big win. OKC will be riled up tonight when the Mavs and Thunder square off.

Weekend Encore
This weekend was exhilarating. The Yankees and Red Sox kicked off their series in the Bronx on Friday. The Sox took Game 1. The Grizzlies forced a Game 7 with the Thunder in prime time on Friday. Kevin Durant had the worst game of his playoff career with only 11 points. On Saturday, the NCAA Lacrosse Tournament started. Right out of the gate Hofstra took the lead over John's Hopkins. They only wish it was like that at the end of the game. Notre Dame moved on to face Duke who beat Delaware 15-14. That will be a rematch of last year's National Title. Cornell took care of Hartford with star Rob Panell. The Sox and Yanks battled but Boston had the upper hand. The main story was that Jorge Posada took himself out of the lineup once he knew he was batting 9th. This caused a lot of commotion. On Sunday, the Thunder claimed their spot in the Western Conference Finals to face the Mavs. The Bulls also took Game 1 in their series against the Heat. The NCAA Lacrosse Tournament continued. Maryland will move on to the next round after they beat North Carolina on the road in Billy Bitter's last game as a Tar Heel. Virginia escaped an upset at home versus Bucknell with a comeback win in OT. Denver took care of Villanova despite Nova's hard fought effort. Syracuse would not be upset at the Carrier Dome two straight seasons as they defeated Siena. To wrap up the weekend, the Red Sox got their brooms out as they swept the Yankees.

Game 7 Forecast
The Thunder and Grizzlies go at it for a trip to the Western Conference Finals in a couple of minutes. After Kevin Durant's 11 point game on Friday, he will look to redeem himself. The two men that will have to play well for the Thunder are Kendrick Perkins and Nick Collison. Perkins has not put up that big numbers throughout the Playoffs but I expect him to come out with a chip on his shoulder. Nick Collison has to come off the bench and cover Zach Randolph, which is never easy. Although he will take up a lot of energy on defense I think he will put up big numbers on the offensive side. Mike Conley Jr. will outplay Russel Westbrook at the PG position but it will not be enough. In the end, the Thunder will move on to play the Mavs. The stars are coming out today when the Thunder and Grizzlies take the floor.

Roll of Thunder
The NBA conference championships are almost set. The Bulls closed out the Hawks in Game 6. The Heat are hot going into the Eastern Conference Championship where they will face the Bulls. After the Mavs swept the Lakers, they will be watching to see who they will face. The Grizzlies are down to their last breath against the Thunder in Memphis. The Grizzlies magical run will come to an end in thrilling fashion. They really turned the NBA Playoffs upside down. Who knows? Maybe it was just a glimpse of what is yet to come. The Thunder will go at it with the Mavs for the Western Conference Championship. The Finals are in reach for five teams. But only one team will hoist the trophy when it all ends.

Abuse of the Elderly
It looks like there are new teams with new stars taking over the NBA. After the Lakers fell down 3-0 on Friday night, Kobe still thinks that they can win this. Today there are two intriguing matchups. At 5:00, the Thunder will steal Game 3 against the Grizzlies in Memphis. Serge Ibaka will play well against the big men of Memphis. To wrap the day up, the Celtics will fail to get a win over the surging Heat. Miami's Mike Bibby will come up big in the Garden. With all the veteran teams losing, it really give the younger, rising stars a chance to make a run in the Playoffs. Is this the end of the veteran teams like the Lakers and Celtics? Only time can tell.

Home Court Advantage?
After both the Lakers and Bulls lost on home court on Tuesday, it got me thinking. Home court has not mattered a single bit to some of these teams. The Lakers will redeem themselves from Tuesday's loss and come out firing. The series will be tied 1-1 going into Dallas. In the Windy City, I actually like the Hawks to take the 2-0 lead over the Bulls. Jamal Crawford will be amazing for the Hawks off the bench. The Bulls will be caught off guard. It looks like both the Lakers and Bulls are going to have to step up if they want to make it to their Conference Championship. These Playoffs have been so crazy, who knows what will happen next?

USA! USA!
As you well know, Osama Bin Laden was killed last night. At the Mets/Phillies game, fans in the middle of the game found out that the mastermind behind 9/11 had been murdered by American forces. Immediately, the Phillies' fans celebrated while chanting, "USA! USA!" After a couple of innings, the Mets' and Phillies' dugout knew what had gone on. Five days ago, the Mets checked out a hospital for hurt U.S. veterans. Actually, Chris Young, the pitcher for the Mets that started last night, went to Princeton and majored in politics. His pitching helped bring the Mets to a win. It was a pitcher's duel; but, in the 14th inning, the Mets took a 2-1 lead and held it. There were two winners last night: the Mets and America.

Crunchtime
Round 1 of the NBA Playoffs is over, and we are on to Round 2. To kick things off, the Grizzlies travel to OKC to take on the Thunder. It will be close throughout the game, but Durantula and the Thunder will pull away. Zach Randolph will continue to put up big numbers but they will not be enough. In the series that everybody is talking about, Miami and Boston will put on a show. The Celtics have to stop the Heat in transition in order to get the victory. Wade knows he has to perform. He averaged 12 points per game in the regular season against Boston. In the end, the Heat will get the win in thrilling fashion. There are lots of questions to be answered. There is one big one, though. Who will come up big in crunchtime? The Playoffs are really getting good. So kick back and relax this Sunday afternoon.

Walking in Memphis
The Spurs and the Grizzlies will take the floor tonight in Memphis. After the Spurs' OT win on Wednesday, the Grizzlies hope to close the series. This is a crucial game for Memphis to win because if they lose the series moves to San Antonio. Mike Conley Jr. will be huge for Memphis. Zach Randolph will continue to put up big numbers and lead his team to the 2nd round. Memphis will be rocking tonight for one of the biggest games in the Grizzlies' history.
Draft Day
Yesterday could have been the craziest 1st round in the NFL draft history. Nobody knew beforehand who would go #1. The Panthers selected Cam Newton for the 1st pick. Von Miller went 2nd to the Broncos. Marcell Dareus was taken by the Bills. Three Quarterbacks were picked in the top 10. Blaine Gabbert went 10th to the Jaguars and Jake Locker surprisingly, went 8th to the Titans. The big surprise was how Christian Ponder went 12th to Vikings. ESPN had a poll on what you would grade each pick, the Vikings got an F. Twelve defensive lineman got picked, but Da'Quan Bowers, who at one point was #1 on people's big boards, did not get selected in the 1st round. A steal for the Giants was getting Prince Amukamara. They did miss out on a great player in Akeem Ayers who would have been good for them because they are weak at the Linebacker spot. There are lots of surprises still ahead. With all the craziness in Round 1, who knows what Round 2 has in store for us.

Playoff Tough
There are three NBA Playoff games today. The Hawks can close out the series with a win tonight. However, the Magic have other plans. Richard Jefferson will come out firing after his Game 4 suspension. Expect it to be chippy tonight with Jefferson and Zaza Pachulia. In the end, the Magic will get the win. Chicago will end their series with the Pacers tonight. Boozer will lead the way. This series has also been a little rough. The Bulls are saying that the Pacers' fouls have been dirty, while others say their fouls are hard Playoff fouls. Out west, the Hornets will top the defending champs. The Lakers will fall in the series 3-2 going back to LA. These NBA Playoffs have been and will continue to be exciting with all the upsets and scuffles. There are still lots of questions. What will happen next?
Going, Going, Gone!
The NFL Draft is not the only draft that people are talking about. The NBA Draft is also in the news. There are lots of questions. Who is going? and who is staying? Kyrie Irving is expected to go #1. Demetri McCamey is also entering the draft. Another player who is expected to go but has not hired an agent was Georgetown's Hollis Thompson. He started 22 of 32 games his Sophmore year, but in January, Coach John Thompson put Nate Lubick in to give them a defensive edge. Thompson then was their go-to-guy off the bench. Thompson still has a chance come back to Georgetown. Jared Sullinger announced that he was staying another year the day after OSU lost to Kentucky. Kemba, Jimmer, and Derrick Williams are supposed to be in the middle to the end of the first round. Out of all those three, I think Derrick Williams will be the most affective. Alec Burks is also supposed to go but has yet to hire an agent. Burks has the potential to be a star. I really like this kid's ability to score. The NBA Draft looks to be good this year with all the talent. Scouts should definitely be excited this year.
