Yesterday was the start of the 2010 NCAA Division 1 Lacrosse Tournament. There were some thrills and blowouts. Virginia beat Mt. St. Mary's 18-4 in prime time. Stony Brook beat Denver 9-7. Duke demolished JOHN HOPKINS 18-5. Maryland charged past Hofstra and won 11-8. Cornell beat Loyola [MD] 11-10 in 3/OT! Later today Army and Syracuse battle. I have Army 12-10. Princeton will ram through Notre Dame. You will get to see a lacrosse star today in Billy Bitter [North Carolina Attack] as he plays Delaware. I have UNC winning 15-9.
